Rotary International Headquarters are in Evanston, Illinois. The governing structure provides for an International President, other officers, and a Board of Directors.
The Rotary world is divided into approximately 500 districts. The top person in each district is the District Governor, or "DG", who is elected for a one year term. The DG is responsible for administration within the district and for the implementation of all district programs and projects. Most districts have between 45 and 70 clubs. The Blaine Ham Lake Rotary Club is part of District 5960. Each club is governed by a President, other officers, and a Board of Directors. |
