He Profits Most Who Serves the Best
There is a lot to know about Rotary; more than you can learn in a meeting or two. Rotary is an organization of business and professional persons united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world.
Service Above Self
This slogan was started as "Service Above Self" by the president of the Rotary Club of Minneapolis in 1911. It was officially adopted in 1950.
What Do You Get From Rotary?
Besides the opportunity to participate in many community service type activities, most people join Rotary for a chance to meet, talk to, or socialize with, the business, civic and professional leaders of their community. It is normal to see Rotarians moving from table to table before the meeting starts, discussing Rotary or business with different people. It is an excellent way to meet new friends, customers or suppliers.
When Do We Meet?
